ABCD UPDATE
At the moment ABCD is in its early stages. We are a start-up organization which is aimed at developing Africa. We are currently not in the position to focus on Africa as whole, and are therefore researching the possibilities to focus on projects on a small scale. We are willing to help in any way that may be needed, whether it be finding financial backers, consultation, contacts etc. Alternatively, there may projects that need doing but are currently out of the scope of partnering organizations.
ABCD is currently made up of a small team of dedicated individuals who are very strong in their own respective fields. If there are any issues we might be able to help, whether it is as a group, or through the individual experiences of our board members, feel free to contact us. For a brief introduction on who we are take a look on our website, www.abcdcorp.net on the “who we are” link http://www.abcdcorp.net/aboutABCD.html to see the credentials of our board members.

Intentional Global Transformation
Seven States towards Conscious, Abundant Co-creativity
There are seven major states of consciousness, of which the first three are commonly known. The next four states fulfill the definition of Enlightenment – the ultimate goal of long-term practice of becoming conscious-aware. The seventh state is an alignment of the life-force and evolving consciousness.
1. Sleeping state of consciousness
2. Dreaming state of consciousness
3. Waking state of consciousness
Mostly characterized by emotional states of fear, sadness, anger and resentment. Mental focus is on egotism, self-centeredness, self-protection, arrogance, chaos, conflict, addictions and acquisition of more sex, money, things, experiences and power.
4. Transcendental Consciousness
Meditation leads to self reflection and thought becomes increasingly subtle, until the finest level of thought is reached. Awareness becomes awake to itself. One becomes conscious of consciousness in the self. Aware, conscious reflection on self, habits, defilements and excesses leads to transformation of the self. Going beyond “Doing” and “Having” to experience “Being,” the unbounded pure consciousness that is at the source of thoughts and feelings. Consciously choosing to be non-reactive to stimulus leads to compassion, forgiveness and the power to create conflict-resolution.
5. Cosmic Consciousness
A sense of "enlightenment" arises from the daily experience of Transcendental Consciousness while being active in daily life. A sense of the cosmos marked by a peaceful, non-changing restful inner state while one is actively engaged in the constant change which occurs in life.
6. God-Creation Consciousness – Oneness, Unity Consciousness
The full range and mechanics of creation are appreciated in a sublime and subtle experience which is characterized by a devotion and love for creation and its creator. Perception that all aspects of life are seen as expressions of “Being,” or pure consciousness. All of the diversity in life is seen as the self-interacting dynamics of Being - Inter-Being - Reverence for Life. The outer and inner realities of life are bridged in Unity Consciousness. One sees the Self in all aspects of creation. This perception can lead to devotion and love for humanity and the Earth characterized by a sense of love, happiness, joy and creativity.
7. Conscious, Abundant Co-Creation
Alignment of the inner life-force with the evolving consciousness leads to co-create all around one – to healing the heart, other people and the planet. This state is characterized by being fully-empowered and fully-expressed, consciously co-creative and intentional, integral and committed to making a difference to bring about healing and balance within and all around one. Conscious creative action to improve the world is engaged in on a daily basis. Abundance is experience within and created for the benefit of self, others, the community and Earth repair.

Opening Men’s Centers Around the World…
After more than thirty years of working in community development and health and human services, locally and globally, I see the urgent need for
men’s centers all around the world, similar to centers for women. Drugs, guns, gangs, domestic violence, internet porn, divorce, job retention, war…
are just some of the issues that confront men everyday… more: www.sanfordhinden.com/longislandmencenter

Overcoming Obstacles to Peace
Three years ago, in a UN Conference on Interfaith Cooperation for Peace I commented in front of 2000 people about how to create peace... I raised two issues...
A World Works Program
First, I said there would never be peace in this world unless we create a World Works Program similar to what President Franklin Roosevelt did in the depression with the Civic Conservation Corps and the Civil Works Administration – public works programs. I said young men are being drawn into gangs, organized crime, militias and terrorist groups because they don’t have a decent job, and thus, can’t have a family... they are being disgraced into violent lifestyles...
Religious Freedom in All Nations
Second, I said there needs to be religious tolerance in all countries, including theocracies and almost theocracies, such as Israel and the Muslim countries, where people of other faiths are respected and allowed to practice their faith in peace...

A Vision of Ten Mid East Breakthroughs to Peace
Derived from the writing of Rabbi Michael Lerner… What will “breakthroughs” to peace look like? They will take the form of actions…

Gangs for Good
Around the world, young men seek ways to protect themselves and earn a living. For some, in very harsh communities, with few options, they may turn to illegal activities. They may engage in transporting and selling drugs and guns. Local youth gangs, and adult organized crime, serve to fulfill many human needs. Five human needs gangs fulfill are: Protection and security; Belonging, friendship, family and community; Economic improvement; Self-respect; and Spirituality, ritual and celebration. “Gangs for Good” is a process of young men helping each other through legal association, education, entrepreneurship and community service…more...
